Kel Rae grew up on a tiny farm on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. During her childhood she had many extreme experiences that demonstrated to her how powerful the mind is. She also had many negative experiences with the medical system and began self-healing as a faster, and more time-efficient way of clearing illness.
At seventeen years old she had a kidney failure (which felt like a heart attack), paralysis at twenty-seven, at thirty-five years old she experienced a heart attack, amnesia, COPD and later angioedema. Though she does not advocate not going to doctors or medical facilities, she has personally stayed away from the medical industry, choosing to remedy illness naturally.
Believing that these instances had more to do with the human spirit not fully expressing itself, than a physical malady within the body she set on the path to understand more about healing through mental adjustments, lifestyle changes, and feeding the spirit.
Kel Rae believes that illness is created by the mind and reflected by the body and that the mind body has the power to cause massive destruction (including death) and it carries the power to heal the body as well. Today she works as a consultant and coach for mind body healing in Victoria, BC Canada.
